Surgical technologists prepare patients, operating rooms and surgical teams for surgery. You will learn to ensure the operating room and equipment is sterile and all equipment is functioning properly. You will also learn how to provide safe care to surgical patients. With a surgical technology degree, you will be prepared for entry-level work as a surgical technologist in a number of health care environments.
